‘Pressed like a mooncake’ is a series of brooches reflected on the phenomenon that commercializes appearance of female becoming ‘beauty’ standard in society. And with unforgiving social pressure it drives women to comply on these social expectations, and to reshape their external personality and physical appearance towards it. This may manifest externally as plastic surgery, or internally as personality mutilation.
